Durhamville is a small village located in Oneida County, New York, United States, with a population of around 584 (2010 Census). It is located in the Town of Verona and is situated between Oneida and Rome, approximately 25 miles east of Syracuse.
The village is named after the Durham family who owned the land in the early 19th century. It was originally a farming community but later grew with the establishment of industrial mills along the nearby creek.
Durhamville has a post office, fire department, and a few small businesses including a gas station, and a convenience store. There is a public park in the village which hosts community events, as well as a nature preserve for outdoor enthusiasts.
The village is within driving distance to attractions such as the Turning Stone Resort Casino, Sylvan Beach, and the Erie Canal Museum. It is also home to the Durhamville Baptist Church, which was established in 1825.
